Shawn M. McGinnis son of Mr, and Mrs. Francis R. McGinnis of Box 476, Tyrone RD 2, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force’s Delayed Enlistment Program- today, according to TSgt Lew Smith, Air Force recruiter for Altoona.. ______Airman McGinnis, a 1981graduate of Rellwood Antis HS is scheduled for enlistment in the Regular Air Force on February .11, 1983. Upongraduation from the Air Force’s six weeks basic training course, he is scheduled to receive technical training in the Air Force’s Electronical career field.He-will be earning credits’ toward an associate degree in applied sciences through the Community College of the Air Force while attending basic and other Air Force technical training schools.
