Aviator and Airplane LostWhile a fleet of airplanes was maneuvering, Tuesday afternoon, over the aviation fields near Arcadia, a storm arose and all except one immediately returned to their hangars. This one, containing one man, had disappeared.Yesterday morning, as soon as it was light enough to see well, several airplanes were sent out in search of the missing man and plane. One of them, No. 3275, in charge of Lieuts. Kimball and Langley, came to Punt a Got-da at ti a. m. and effected a safe landing. The lieutenants came into town and made inquiries by telephone and otherwise. They learned by ’phone that, between 3 and 4 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon, an unidentified airplane was seen at or near Fort .Myers sailing east up the Caloosahatchoe. It was Hying above the storm and doubtless landed at Lallelle or Moon* Haven. On getting this information, the two lieutenants resumed their flight, going in the direction ofthe camps.
