Peno heads VFW and CootiesPaul Peno has been elected commander of both Nashua Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and its Pup Tent 1, Military Order of the Cootie.Peno, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, is believed to be the first VFW member in New England to be chosen for two posts in the same election year. He is a supervisor at the city landfill site.Other post officers are senior vice commander, Donald Everett; junior vice commander.
