Others have another week to go.The division staged a windup ceremony which included the first formal review of theentire division at one time in several years. Nearly 9,000 troops, plus 500 vehicles, lightIplanes and helicopters, passed in review before Iowa Gov. Norman Erbe and Ne-\braska Gov. Frank Morrison. Ceremonies also featuredrpresentation of the Eisenhower Trophy to the top units in the division from each state.IThe Iowa trophy was shared ; by the 34th Division bandifrom Fairfield, and the division headquarters detachment from Des Motnes. The Nebraska trophy went to Com pany E, 128th Combat Engineer Battalion, Broken Bow.The review marked the endof two weeks of field training for about 3,500 Iowa guardsmen and about 3.000 Nebraska troops. But for another 2.500 artillerymen and tank-ers from the two states, it was only the halfway point as the summer encampment was conducted on a staggered, 3-week, schedule.Gov. Morrison told the NeI braska members of the divi)! sion he hoped they could instill in other Nebraskans “the11 same sense of dedication, thesame sense of pride and the6same sense of meaningful duty” the guardsmen had display '1I.Nebraska Adj. Gen. Lyle C, Welch said, “I feel we have accomplished much more this year than in any year that I have been with the divisionand associated o r g a n i z ations.”
