Finishes BasicNavy TrainingA. A. Lester Morse Verley, Jr., above, formerly of Cres-ton, has completed 12 weeks of basic navy training at the naval training center at San Diego, Calif. He spent a two-week leave at end of basic training with his parents, Mr. and 'Mrs. Lester Verley of Inglewood, Calif., and also visited his brother-in-law, Bruce Cunningham, and other relatives and friends. He is to le stationed at San Diego for 18 months while completing his navy schooling. His parents formerly lived in Creston.
