Ohio State Woman’* Suffrage Conr«ation.Tbe strong-minded ladies are to have a befcetit, as will be seen by the following:“The undersigned unite in calling a convention, to meet in Pike’s Music Hall, Cincinnati, on Wednesday and Thursday, September 15 and 18, for the purpose of organizing a State Woman's Suffrage Association, to be based substantially on the following“platform:“W he re as, All just governments are foundedconsent of the governed; and,‘‘Whereas, Taxation without representatioft is tyranny; and,• WawusAe, Every human being is endowed bythe ( reator with the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; therefore, “Resolved, That the Goverumeut of the United States, m denying to women, who constitute full oue-half of its subjects, the right of suffrage, and with it most of the privileges and emolumentspertaining to full oitizensbip, is only half republican in 1 tjaResolved, That it is the duty of women, who are thus denied thoir right of Bnffrago, to de-and it, in order that the Government may be#u truth what it professes to be, and by thisfor the welfare of fupreservedgenerations.“Resolved, That it is the duty of all nrogressive and truth-loving men, who would know the right and help do it, to unite with the women in helping them to secure the ballot, which will prove a sufficient guarantee for all civil and social rights.”Signed;BY RESIDENTS OF CINCINNATI.Rev.
