It appear* that his sons are inclined to be soldiers also. Hi* second son, Vincent A., •Jr. arrived in this city from Danville, \ a., on last Thursday and on.last Friday enlisted with Cupt. Lyons to go to the Philippines.Thin is not the first soldier experience of young Witcher, an he served both in the Third and Fourth Virginia regiments during the war with Spain, having been in the fighting about Santiago. In this fighting Ids older brother, William Addison, waskilled, hut this did not relieve Vincent of the war like spirit which he possessed and he has again enlisted. Ho has ret urned all his clothing save his uniform to his home at Danville and is now ready to be sent to camp, lie is a relative of the Osbornes, of Wayne county, his mother having been a member of that family.
