Court Martial on Lieut. McLaughlin, of the U. S. Navy.—A court martial, it is reported, has been ordered upon thisgentleman, on some different charges, among which, is one for murder, sanctioning the whipping to death of Corporal Pierpont, of the Marine corps, by Midshipman Rogers. Corporal P. was a cousin of the Rev. John Pierpont, of Boston.—Phila.Lcdg.
