REUNION, HOME-COMING WEEK.The great reunion of veterans of the Civil War and those who fought in the war with Spain, is being held here this week. Not only is this a great week among the “old boys” who fought for their country, but it is indeed a great week for English and Crawford county. It is an event of great importance to everyone. The last reunion is never forgotten and the one to come is always going to be the best.This is indeed home-coming week and from the way the crowds have Been coming in the last few days there will be a larger attendance this year than ever before. People began to arrive the latter part of last week and the crowd is increasing each day. The week of the English reunion is looked forward to from one year to another and former residents of English and Crawford county and people who have friends and relatives here make it a point to pay them a visit during the week of the reunion.The steam swing, a number of shows and various attractions began to arrive the latter part of last week and the first of this week has been spent in getting the various apparatuses to the grouuds and placing them in position ready for the great event.A large crowd was in attendance yesterday but if the weather is favorable today it will be the biggest day that English has had for years. If you want to see your friends meet them at the re-, union grounds at English.
