Three is an “Indian mound” upon, an open level prairie in Calumet township twelve miles east from tins.city. It measures ten feet in. height* and one hundred feet in circumference. The surface of the earth upon the. mound is level and even, very unlike that ef common hill. There are several smaller ones near this, varying :inheiglith,from three feet upward and from ten to thirty feet in diameter.
