Albert L. ] Dietl, son o£ Mr, and Mrs. George Dietl, 1215 Bast Miami avenue.Sedam, husband of Mrs, Mary C, Sedam of Peru, lost his life during the invasion of Leyte island on Nov. 10, 1 Hi. He wa3 born in this city on Jan. 24, 1918, and was graduated from Logausport high school, after which he was employed by International Harvester.lie entered the service in March, 1944, and was sent to the Pacific shortly thereafter. Hi a younger daughter, Dalene, was born five days after his death.Surviving are the father; the widow and two daughters, Linda Lou 6 and Dalene 3; two sisters. Mrs. ICcintL Franklin, 1G00 George street, and Mrs. Peggy Jones, 1317 George. Dlet.1 Killed On Cebu Dietl was killed on Cebu island on April 14, 1945. He attended Logans port high school and was a member of the Eagles lodge and the Helm street Church of God.He was 21 at the time of his death and had been in the army infantry since March, 1942. He went overseas in October, 1942. He was employed by the Pennsylvania.railroad before he entered the service.The parents and a- sister, Mrs. Velma Hershberger, 124 East Miami avenue, survive,Other bodies being returned include Pfc.
