Tho outrages perpetrated during the past week in Williamson county alone would fill two columns if briefly recited. There are now not less than tl.roe hundred refugees in town wlio have been compelled to fly from their homes, a great number of them having left wives and families, and crops which they .made this year, behind them. The outrages have . ecome immensely numerous within the past week. In some counties the Klan are determined that none shall vote except Conservatives, and that, if possible, do colored man shall remain among them beyond this fall.Last night a colored man named Walker Wilson limped into our office with his heel shot off. a fugitive from Williamson county. He was workiug on the farm of Harrick and Tom Wilson, he says, five miles beyond Brentwood, aDd on Tuesday evening at about quitting time, while five of them were picking peas in a field, they were attacked by a squad of fifteen or twenty Ku Klux, draped iu white, with red caps. Pistols were fired arnoDg the working negroes; they started away from their work; the Ku Klux pursued them, firing all the time. Two of the working men were killed, one of them being a cousin of Walker Wilson, our informant. A pistol-shot caught Walker in the heel and took it off. They scattered in the woods, the oDly means left them to save themselves.Another man, who has been in the city four weeks, got a letter from his , wife, whom he was compelled to leave at Springfield, eayiog that the Ku-Klux arc worse than ever, and cau-tinning him Tint tn rohirn* that ah a wn*
