George Dickerson, who is home on a short furlough.Mr. and Mrs. Harvy Huey and daughter, Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Chappell and family were visitors at Lee Spencer’s home Mon-day.Lee Spencer had as visitors Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Claud Taylor and family of Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Lerona Chappell, Miss Lecy Chappell and Mrs. Freelyn Chappell of Charleston.Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Spencer and children of St. Louis visited his father, Lee Spencer, and family over the week end. Miss Earline Louise and Marjorie Spencer and Miss Virginia Huey accompanied them home for a weeks’ visit.Pvt. Carl Simpkins of the U. S. army is at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben H. Simpkins, on a short furlough. Dinner guests at the Simpkins home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Woods and family of Bragg City, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Tomason and family of Wyatt, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Thresher and family, Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Simpkins and family, Mrs. Pearl McMullen, Mrs. Jack McMullen and family, Mrs. Carl Kenal and daughter of East Prairie and Mr. and Mrs. Pollard and family and Earl D. Simpkins of Charleston.
