GERMANS FLY FROM BERLIN TO NEW YORK IN 25 HOURSThe four-motored German transport plane, Brandenburg, and its crew at Floyd Bennett airport. Long Island, N. Y., after completing the first nonstop flight from Berlin to New York ever attempted. The plane, wihch took off secretly to test the route for commercial air service, made the 3,492-mile hop in 25 hours.
