Hall spotted the auto on the Cicolt St. bridge, followed it to Miami Ave. and halted it.Police were called and took j the driver, Conrad, to the station, where he admitted entering ‘he tavern and the Indiana Cashway store, 811 Burlington Ave., according to officers.Police prowl cars had discovered entries at the Cashway j store; Harris Glass Shop, 895 ■ Burlington Ave., and Grant Implement Co., 8(13 Burlington I Ave. Police said Conrad denied I any part, in the Harris and j Grant breakins.Taken in the breakins were a ; tool box, from the Grant store; two hammers from Cashway; $8.40 from the tavern and nothing from the glass shop. Two rr.elal cabinets at the glass shop were pried open but ap-i parently nothing was missing.! Conrad told officers that his Army unit, the 1st Cavalry Division, was scheduled to leave I for Viet Nam next week.
