9' - - - -•*' JCol. Cookson Named Cadet Commandant At Military SchoolALEDO—Col. Forrest Cookson, a West Point graduate, has been named commandant of cadets and professor of military science and tactics at Roosevelt Military Academy. For the past five years Col. Cookson has held a similar position at Clemson College in SouthCarolina.In addition to his work at West Point, Col. Cookson also studied at Miami University and Columbia University. He served as an instructor at West Point, commanded a regiment in Sicily and Italy and served with the planning staff in GHQ, Pacific Theatre.Col. and Mrs. Cookson will arrive in Aledo about Aug. 15. They have two sons, 17 and 20. The younger is a sophomore at Princeton University; the elder has completed a year of graduate work there.
