Hales Brothers in Active Duty, U.S. xArrnyPFC. ELDRIDGE HALESWord was received here by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C.Hales, of the arrival in Korea,July 15 of Pfc. Eldridge Hales,24th Infantry Division Band. Hales was a member of theU. S. Naval Reserve for two years and has served for a yearand a half with the Army. Heis a graduate of Aransas PassHigh School and has recentlyre-enlisted for 6 years.Leaving last Thursday for Anchorage, Alaska was Sgt. Glenndell O. Hales, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Hales of Aransas Pass. Sgt. Hales took a Naval plane from Corpus Christi for the Elmdorf Air Force Base in the northern U. S. Territory following a 30 day leave spent with his parents, here.Elmdorf AFB has been active in the evacuation of wounded from Korea.SGT. GLENNDELL O. HALES
