Airman Appren. Lawrence E. Rowe, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Rowe of 331 1-2 Crescent Road, Beckley, was graduated from the Aviation Structural Mechanics School in Structures at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Memphis, Tenn.The curriculum included the study of electricity, aviation supply, theory of flight, plane handling, aircraft painting and repair of internal structures.Prior to attending this course, he completed the two-week Aviation Familiarization and four-week Mechanical Fundamentals courses at Memphis.
