James W. Beushausen, fireman, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Beushausen of 76 Allendale, and Thomas L. Curry, electrician’s mate fireman, USN, son of John W. Curry, 1020 North Eighth, are crew members of the attack aircraft carrier USS Hancock, operating out of Alameda, Calif. Hancock recently completed an overhaul at the San Francisco, Calif., Naval Shipyard. She will conduct refresher training in the Pacific this summer in preparation for a tour of duty with the Seventh Fleet in the Far East. Refresher training is conducted periodically to insure a ship’s combat readiness.
