Schmidt, one of airmen released by Red China, today talked with his wife who married another man believing Schmidt was killed in the Korean war.The 23-year-old airman refused to disclose details of the trans-Pa -cific telephone conversation about their tangled marital affairs.“I certainly would not want to discuss for public consumption what I said to my wife,” declared the modern-day “Enoch Arden” from Redding, Calif.Schmidt talked for 20 minutes with his 20-year-old wife Una Florence.
