Jay B. Harlan, son of Mr. and Mrs, J. J. Harlan of Littlefield, recently received his ' -wings and commission as a second, lieutenantin- the Army Air Forces after successfully c o m-pleting his advanced flying school training at Williams field,Chandler, Am,Lt. Harlan is a graduate of Littlefield High school and attended the University o.f Texas prior to his. appointment as an aviation cadet.
