Keenan, of Pitts-BalPrank Rice, of BostonCamdenAssociation.It was in 1891, at the annual conven-LeaguePress Clubs, held at San Francisco, that I ,ithe project was initiated. MichaelaDe Young, of the San Francisco Chronicle, and Thomas J. Keenan, Jr., of thePittsburg Press, were its originators;and the suggestion of a home for newspaper workers was enthusiastically received by the delegates present.
