Thomas DixonELM CITY - Thomas P Dixon, 81, died today in Wilson Memorial Hospital. The funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson.Among his survivors are a daughter, Ms. Juanita Demrick of Florida; and a son, Charles Dixon of Elm City.Hubert CarpenterNASHVILLE - Hubert Nathaniel Carpenter, 67, died Monday. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.He is survived by his wife; a son; a daughter; two sisters, including Mrs. Ruby Lindsey of Route3, Nashville; and a brother.The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7-9 and at other times at the homeof Mrs. Lindsey.James EatmonJames Alexander Eatmon. 64, died Monday. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Donner Lucas, the Rev. W.E. Thompsonand the Rev. The funeral was held today at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial followed in Bunn Cemetery.He is survived by his wife; three sons; six sisters; two brothers, including N.W. Beddingfield of Wilson; and two grandchildren.
