Willie Bartley, show* u mortar squad of Heavy Mortar Co.. 152nd Inr. the Dubois county unit of the National Guard, In action at Camp Grayling during the recent two-weeks training period. The squad was lobbing the live shells around 3,000 yards. The range, of this particular type of mortar is about four miles. Inserting the shell in the weapon Is Pfc. John Schenetxke. assistant gunner. Others, 1. to r„ are Pfe. Robert Mohr and Pfc. Arlle Logsdon, ammo bearers; M/Sgt. Cyril Block, platoon sergeant; Pvt. Robert Gicsler and Pfc.
