Houeley exchanged marriage vowa in a candlelight ceremony Friday evening In the “Ault Christian church.The Rev. J. L. Rico rend the double ring service at 8:30 o'clock ia the presence of 250 guests. Mrs. John Carlson provided the wedding music and also played at the recep tion.Vocalist was Byron Jacobsen, He sang Because’ and The Lord’s Prayer.' The altar was decorated with baskets of gladiolus and ifews were marked with ribbons and flo\ycrs. Scene was lighted - by tapers la seven-branchpd candelabra.Joan Biamonte, in.a rose gown and Beverly Cook, wearing blue, lighted the candles. Fastened to the tapers were white flowers, worn later as corsages by the candle1lighters.Bride'was given in marriage .by her father, Walter E. Lewis. Miss Bonnie Joy Lewis, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Doris Glidewell and Barbara Dodd, cousin of the bride.Willard Housley was his brother's best man. Eugene Lewis and Harland Ward, brother and cousin of the bride, were the groom’s at* fondants, and Joe Lewis and John Richmond ushered.The bride was attired lu a gown of while silk net over Batin, made with high neckline. The yoke was trimmed wiLh tiny rufflea around the shoulders and below the long fitted bodice. She liad a colon iul corsage.Roy Lewis, brother of the bride, carried the rings on a white Batin pillow. ,The maid of honor was gowned in. orchid and Miss Glidewell wore yellow. Both had while flowers in their hair. Miss Doddw gown was of powder blue and she wore pink flowers in her hair.•All the attendants carried colonial bouquets.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Lewis chose a dinner gown ot cream colored silk, with, white gloves and hat. • Mrs. John. The three tiered wedding cake was decorated with rosebuds and topped with a miniature bride and groom.After the young couple cut and shared the first Eliee of cake, Mrs. Mabel ’•Hlnanmn of Fort Collins, aunt of tlie bride, completed the serving. The bride chose a light cream colored suit, with blue accessories, for the trip. She wore the corsage from her bridal bouquet.Upon returning they will be at limna at Adams City. The bride attended schools in Ault and Greeley Commercial college. She Is a talented musician.Mr. and Mrs. Walter Housley of SL Helens, Ore., are the parents of the groom.
