Clark, known intimately to his legion of friends in Laredo as “Bobby”, was the second oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman H. Clark of Laredo, He was born in Laredo November 28, 1920, and graduated from Martin High School here in the Class of 1940. Pie volunteered in the army service and was accepted for the Air Corps November 4, 1942, and received his wings and commission as a lieutenant October 1, 1943, at Williams Field, Chandler, Arizona. He was a pilot of a P-38 fighter plane. His last visit to his home here was in January, 1944, after which he left for the port of embarcation on February 6, 1944, and was stationed in Italy.Besides his parents, Mr, and Mrs, Norman H. Clark, Sr., he is survived by two brothers, Corporal Norman H. Clark Jr., serving in the armed forces and stationed at SAACC at San Antonio, and Everett L. Clark of Laredo. Also one niece, Carol Jean Clark of San Antonio, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Edwards of Laredo, also aunts and uncles.
