Omaha. Neb.Within the short space of one week. Lt. Paul T H. Mclver was shifted from Co. A. to the S-4 desk at hdqrs., and promoted to 1st Lt.Other transfers in the battalion sent Lt. Richard M King, from headquarters to Co. A. and Lt. Orrui O Carpenter from Co. B to Co. A.Corp. Ira Weiser, Co. D, departed on a seven-day emergency furlough last Monday for Brooklyn. N. Y. when the Red Cross verified the unpleasant news that Wriser's mother was seriously injured in a fall a#home. 7
