Plumley, who is now a private first class, has been at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, since a few days after he was inducted. and is a member of a field artillery unit there.His brother, Private James H. Plumley, is with a specialBasil Plumley James Plumleytraining unit at Camp Shelby, although he was first sent along with his brother to Camp Claiborne. After six weeks at the Louisiana camp, he was transferred to Shelby for special training, James returned to his post Saturday, July 25, after spending a ten-dav furlough with his parents.
