Roberts of Marathon, Tex. , is serving with the Third Tank Battalion, Third Marine Division in Vietnam. Asa member of the battalion he helps support units of the division with fire support. In somecases,he helps cut roads throughthe dense Vietnamese lungle toprovide support to t h e miantry units. His unit is also engaged in a civic action program designed to assist the Vietnamese people in completion self-help projects,such as the building of wells, culverts, small bfidgesand schools. Equipment andmaterials are made available through the Marine Corps Reserve Civic Action Gund.Siberia spans nine time zones, yet holdt fewer r e s i d e nts than New York State and New Englandcombined.
