More Men toArmy Service3 Colored Men Leave Today; 7 To Go SaturdayThree Emporia colored men left Emporia this morning for Leaven-worth for a year of military' training. They are Edward Harold Henderson. 927 Sylvan, the leader; Dolan Kayhiil, 1019 Sylvan, and Winfred Loree McCrary, 1125 Cottonwood. A large crowd of cotorcd relatives and friends of the trainees were at the Santa Fe depot at 5 o'clock this morning to hid the boys goodbye. Members of the Emporia draft board who saw the men leave were Roy J. Lentherberry, sr., Walter Owens and Harry Glass.
