Letter from King George V.Ohri'' Damron on the 25th inst. received from his son Willie, who is now in France, the following letter handed to him as his company passed through England, which is in the fac simile hand-writing of the King of Great Britain and on his stationery, towit:WINDSOR OASTLE.Soldiers of the United States, the people of the British Isles welcome you on your way to take your stand beside the Armies of many Nations now fighting in the Old World the great battle for human freedom.The Armies will gain new heart and spirit in your company.I wish that I could 6hake the-hand of each one of you and bid you God speed on your mission. April, 1918. George R. I.Willie mailed the letter on June 26 and it was just a month in coming. By now he is doubtless in where he can hear the roar of the big guns. He is in a machine gun battalion.Rockport fair Aug. 21 to 24.1
