Lee Henderson of Ilawkinsville, received on Monday last from the pension department of the United States government, a check for 11052, payable to Mrs. Sarah A. Henderson, widow of Hillory Henderson, who was a soldier in the war of 1812. Mrs. Henderson lives in Pulaski county, on the east side of the river, on the old homestead of her husband. The check is the arrearages on a pension grant* ed by congress in March, 1S78, to the soldiers of 1812, or their widows.
