Horton, Route 8, Cullman, j is serving in Korea with the 24th I Infantry Division.The Victory'’ division first landed in Korea in July 1950 and spent19 months in combat before going to Japan for security duty. It returned to the peninsula shortly beforethe cease fire.Corporal Horton is a gunner in Company C of the division’s 19th Infantry Regiment. His wife, Bettie, lives at 316 Third St.
