Because of his friendship with top government officials, d he frequently scored news beats £ on big stories from cabinet members and others.In addition to his wife and brother. he also is survived by his mother who is ill at the home in Abingdon.The bodv is scheduled to arrive here Monday afternoon and will be at a local funeral home Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Lytle officiating. Burial will be in River-view Cemetery.
