Pvt Kelvin Brown, son of Mrs ThelmaBrown, 329 Concord, Chicago Heights,has completed advanced individual training at the U.S. Army Infantry school, Fort Benning, Ga.During the course, Pvt. Brown’s training qualified him as a light-weapons infantryman and as indirect fire crewman in a rifle or mortar squad.Seaman Recruit Steven T. Knaack son of Brenda J. Knaack, P.O. Box 33, Crete, enlisted in the Navy in January of this year.He has completed the eight-week recruit training period at the Naval Training center, San Diego.
