Soldiers Vis SchoolA helicopter operated by troops from the 82nd Airborne, stationed in the area for “war games,” landed at the Youngsville High School athletic field on a tactical mission Wednesday. The crew granted permission for students, faculty and administrators to inspect the ’copter. “Eachman was deluged with questions,” Principal Felix Matthews noted, “and they answered them all in a respectful and informative manner. They certainly impressed our student body, and we’re very appreciative of the 82nd’s gesture of goodwill.”
