Attending CourseSecond Lt. Gerald W Parker, son of Mr and Mrs. Fred H. Parker. Brant Lake, is attending an air defense officer orientation course at the Army Air Defense School, Fort Bliss, Texas.During the nine-week course, which ends June 18, Lt. Parker Is receiving distinction in air defense artillery, with emphasis on the Nike-Hercules missile and its firing system.The 21-year-old officer received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Siena College. Albany.He was graduated from Hori-con Central High School in 1960 and received his bachelor’s degree in 1965 from Siena College.
