Soldiers Entrain Monday.Sixty-tbree white men and four colored men will report at Newport Sunday afternoon, April 28, ready to leave for Camp Taylor, Kentucky, the following: morning. The official order for this number of men for the naton-al army was received by the local conscription board last Saturday. The names of the 63 were printed in last week’s Herald, the name of Clay Scott of Cayuga, however not appearing at that time.Following the above order came another, calling for eight registered men to be sent to Fort Thomas, Ky., during the, five day period ..beginning May 1. This list of eight men includes one from Cayuga—Everett M. Shelby.Another list of five men to be sent to Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind.. during the five-day period beginning May 6, have been selected by the board. This list also includes one Cayuga boy, Carl Cornelius Congleton.
