Remembering ‘Black April'Ceremonies: Two separate Black April” ceremonies to commemorate the fall of Saigon will take place Friday - from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. - at the Sid Goldstein Freedom Park, 14180 All American Way, Westminster. The first ceremony will be organized by Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen's office and several community groups. The second ceremony, which will feature a candlelight vigil, will be organized by the Vietnamese American Community of Southern California.USS Midway: The USS Midway in San Diego will host a public ceremony at noon Friday featuring the 1975 captain of the Midway, Larry Chambers, and the 1975 air boss of the Midway, Vem Jumper. The ceremony is free with paid admission to the USS Midway Museum. The event will also feature Vietnamese performances and entertainment.
