Stock wintered good and as the old story goes if we can just get some more rain everything will be fine.Talk of the area now is of the w i 1 d c at oil and gas well to be thilled at Marathon, on Section 25 Block 4, just one mile west of town. The (frilling rig is on the ground ready to be put up in working order. Many landownersin die Marathon Basin have leased to the oil companies with high hopes that this well will be aproducer.
