The party was escorted to the Auditorium Hotel where they wertserved lunch.After lunch Lieutenant Peterson appeared on the court house lawn to listen to speeches and some beautiful patriotic music furnished by the Cam*Hi Orchestra, and made a talk to the crowd. Lieut. Peterson outlined what Uncle Sam had ready for the Germans in the way of aircraft and big guns.He declared that America was much further advanced than that of any other country in the matter of aviation and that the plan was to keep afternoonyoung men in training.As soon as his talk was completed Peterson was carried back to the field and soared over the city in his plane and his daring feats were watched with up-turned heads and he did th* almost impossible things.Late in the afternoon the big show’ came off.
