Suffice it to say, that bur'unit has been attached to Blt;*tse hospital No, 21, and that I am now an enlisted man in base Xo. 21. which is located in a small French town about forty miles from the firing1 line, and a town which was, in peace times, noted as a famous summer resort, for the reason that it is one 'Of the most famous watering1 places in'all-France, There are several large and beautiful hotels here, which arc being turned. In to hospitals and living1.quarters for officers, nurses and enlisted men. -“We, who -were ’ formerly. Unit G, are quartered in what was, befora the war, a fine hotel, patronized by famous guests. Some of the pictures and mirrors are still hanging on the walls From,, the appearance of things'here it*is hard for one to realize' that'-'war 'is being; waged such a short disrance away. '
