On Furlough. Lt. Samuel Thomas, son of Mrs.' Lucy Thomas of Blackwater, ^ 3s spending a ten-day furlough with his mother and friend.oh the reservation. Lieut. Thomas entered the service in 1940 with the ‘National Guard from Casa Grande. He. has been serving in the Panama area, but is now stationed at;Fort Jackson, N. C. He has a brother, Roy Thomas, who is also in the armed service. ,
