M Bailey from Kenly isi(visiting her sister Mrs. Martha Lewisand they are visiting the fish pond andcreea all of these nice days.A certain man in this communityput chased a two horse carriage last1week, he had the vehicle shipped tolaKenly. He went after it on his wagon and on coming back had it fastenedbehind the wagon. While he was in itasleep the rope which fastened saidvehicle to the wagon broke in a verymuddy place and team went hornsHis people were uneasy about him and«'»on the next morning went to look forhim They found him about an hourby sun in the buggy asleep where he bad been for several houis. He say*that It was a fine place to sleep and hehasn't slept in bis house since.
