(ff) — An ,Air Force pilot parachuted seven J miles to safety seconds before his F86 Sabrejet — loaded with rockets — exploded over snow-j capped Mt. Monadnock in this aouthwestern corner of New ( Hampshire. ,“I got pretty cold* coming down,” 1st Lt. John P. Linman, 23, of Klamath Falls, Ore., said after a telephone lineman used a ladder to extricate him from a tree in Dublin Center.A few miles away, on the slopes of the rugged 3165-foot mountain, searchers found three separate sections of the single-•ngined jet. ,Linman, who escaped with a cut on his left leg, told newsmen he used an automatic ejector seat to catapult himself from his plane when it began to “tumble violently at 40,000 feet above the mountain. The ejector seat was later found on ice-covered Dublin lake.
