Registration ot Women for Service.medaThe registration of women for (Fit service will begin April 19. This is a good day to begin this drive for freeeotn, because our forefathers fired the first shot for our freedom on this day over a century ago. The service of ourwomen is one thins now that we need for our freedom.The purpose of this rpgistra. tion is far-reaching. It gives every woman au opportunity to serve her country. It is a meansby which the government may• *Tknow the possibilities of the wojnan power of the country with accurate information of the capacities in which women aresserving or can serve.It will be a means of placing womed in positions where their service will be of greatest value, so let us cheerfully comply andbe glad of the opportunityto give what we can to this great need.bvviII111MLet everv woman of Perrv Co. he active the next few days• fwhile the dme for registration of women is on. Let us think of what the war means, of our place and of what we can do,— then explain it to our neighbors, j fi who perhaps have not thought of it. Let us help the woman that does not know; then she may help some one else. The woman who is busy%■with household cares, may register, also, with the full assurance that she will never be called upon to leave her home,—yet she will be one of the women workers for her country. She willthen feel that she has a place in the service and will be proud to be listed among the women who are willing to do what they can. The woman that is caring for her family and home is as true a patriot as anyone and she deserves to be counted as one ofthe women workers of our country.
