9Rone Boys in Marine Service, j fMrs. Dan Schank of Rome was in the city Monday visiting: at the home of Geo. Steinsberger and while here called and showed as kodak pictures of her two adopted sons, Herbert and Fred Wegenast, who are with the marines “Somewhere in France.” They also sent the picture of a little French boy friend of theirs and a ^treet view in a French town. These two boys were reared in «the home of Mr. and Mrs. Schank and they think as much of them as if they were their own bloodsons. They enlisted on April 7, 1917 and were trained for their duties at Port Royal, S. C. and at Quantico, Va. They are delighted with the service and are not a tit sorry they enlisted under their country’s flag*
