FINOS BONES OFSOLDIER ALONG CREEK| While fishing along Rock Creek 1 near the old Pfoutz farm, now own- \ ed by Reuben Fissel, Wednesday afternoon. Edward Gilbert unearthed the remains of a soldier. Two bones protruding: from the ground led to the discovery of the skeleton of which, the bones of the legs, . arms, the skull and a number of ribs 1 were found. A mashed rebel bullet j was also dug up by Mr. Gilbert. The j place of the discovery of the skele- ! ton is near the location of the 2nd j Corps Hospital at the time of the j battle. Mr. Gilbert brought the! arm bones with him but covered the remainder of tihe skeleton. The re-; mains will probably be dug up and re-buried in the cemetery.
