0~So tar as heard from, there are three surviving soldiers of the war of 1-812 residing in this vicinity, viz: Adam Fisiier, aged 83 3*ears; MosesStallings, aged 82 years, and Elijah. * *Anderson, aged 70 years.. Under the provisions of an Act of CongrcBs of February 14, 1871, these old vetcrat/5 are entitled to a place on the pension roll at the rate of eight dollars a month.
