Central High School Selects June Commencement SpeakersiThe activities of the June graduating class of Central high school lire in full swingThe executive board consisting of the officer*, Bernard leaching, president: Jack Boerncr, vice president; Marian Wilkinson, secretary; andHomer Stahl, treasurer, and assistant*. Ruth Kaulfuss, Catherine Michel, Marie Sweeney, Edith M^l-zahn, Donald Kemske. and John Dunn recently nominated twelve student* for commencement speakers. From these the class chose John Berg. Jack Boerner, Homier Stahl,and Hubert Tf ‘man. The facultyadvisers have added Edna Dummerand Mildred Nelson to this list.The class voted to invite the Reverend J, T, Kneen to give the Baccalaureate address.A committee composed of Earl Frazer, chairman, John Faustman. and George Glasrud was appointed to investigate senior privileges, which arc now extended to all ad-\anced seniors having an average of three or better. These students are excused from their study halls. Ruth Kaulfuss was appointed chairman of the committee on girls’ dress for baccalaureate and commencement.Other members are Conale Bell, Edna Dummer, Gravce Gondrezick. and Renata Schaldach. The boys’suit committee includes John Dunn, chairman. Henry Kamperschroer. Sam Fellows, Robert Besch, and Bruce Danuser.Edith Molzahn is chairman of the program committee which includesJean Harnwell, Gretchen Simmerling, George W’iddick, and Wayne Dickenson. The program committee and the Glenn Frank Speech club arranged a program for one of themeetings. George Snodgrass presided. Arman d Gosfeld gave an oration, “I am an American;” Fred Reynolds spoke on Werner Jansen, the con ductor of the New York Philharmon ic orchestra; George Gates played several accordian solos.1
